Train your Cat to brush their teeth.

Perhaps one reason we are fascinated by cats is because such a small animal can contain so much independence, dignity, and freedom of spirit. Unlike the dog, the cat’s personality is never bet on a human’s. He demands acceptance on his own terms.” – Lloyd Alexander

Our cat Chino brushing his teeth.

Our Three Cats and dental hygiene.

Our 3 cats loves to watch while I’m brushing my teeth and before I knew it , they got themselves their own toothbrush. How cute and it’s so funny looking at them . 😍

If your cats are not use to a regular toothbrush you can try the baby finger toothbrush. They sell a product especially for pets but I do preferred to use baby finger toothbrush for it is more delicate and soft. Check the picture below as an example of the product . It’s not expensive at all compared to the bill we had today after our cat Diva’s teeth got cleaned at the Vets Clinic. Cost us €120 euros for getting all her teeth cleaned up.

Love waking up with this view from our bedroom.

This is why lockdown becomes bearable to us. The beautiful view from our house and the tranquillity of nature . The physical and mental rest that you get from the sight and sounds from nature is priceless . You don’t need to live in a mansion to get that feeling of satisfaction . All you need is to get lucky to have that beautiful view from your house even though you live in an apartment or Flat in the middle of the city. Simple living is just enough to be happy.

Purring Love.

Owning a cat, dog or any pets will never allow you to fall into a deep, dark depression because your best friend will always be there with y.ou

There are literally hundreds of reasons why we cat parents love our cats and one thing for sure they’re so much more than just a fluffy ball of fur.

●They will always be there waiting for you at your doorstep when you come home.

●They will never allow you to fall into a deep dark depression because your furry best friend will always be there with you.

●Purring love and entertain us every day with their funny quirks .

They constantly makes you laugh.
Amazed you with their enormous curiosity.
Their childish quirks similar to a toddler

In a multi-cat home, there is a distinct kind of toilet —the litter box—where standing in line is never the norm.

It’s common knowledge that
giving each cat enough room
to call their own is essential to keeping them content and
secure, especially when they
share a home with several
cats.

And even more so in terms of how they use their toilet.
Just like us cats loves watching reflections of autumn in the sky as the sun turn crimson as it nestled itself along the tree lines.

How to make your new kitten feel safe and welcome to a new home.

Before giving your new kitten  a tour of the full house,

“Give him plenty of time to become

accustomed to a new space.”

All kittens will require some time

 to explore their environment.

If you first restrict the available

space by confining your new cat in a single room, this will be less

daunting for him.

Give him plenty of time to

get used to this space.

Your other pets and the new kitten

will get to know each other’s cues

and signals as well as mutual

 respect and trust. Anxiety levels

are reduced on both sides when

this occurs. The new kitten needs a place to climb or hide in order to

 get away from the circumstance

till that time comes.

Cats instinct must also be met

because in the wild, they climb trees and lounge on their

 branches.

Cats prefer to nap on the back of

the nicest chair in the home, but

comfortable, accessible bedding

 in a peaceful area

will encourage the cat to sleep

in his own space.

The new kitten might not have

as much trouble if the current

pet is an adult cat rather than a

dog.

As long as their territory is

maintained

And they don’t feel

abandoned, the majority of adult

cats are reasonably accepting of

kittens. It’s crucial to spend quality time with the new cat as well as

the existing one.

In fact, spending more time with

the older cat

during this transitional phase is a

 smart idea. You must discourage

competition in addition to

avoiding competition for attention.

The most rewarding part is so cute, when they’ll play fight or watch birds together and then out of nowhere the adult cat will start grooming the kitten. Even cuter, occasionally the kitten will waddle up to the adult and plop down and then the grooming commences.

The adult cat and the kitten will
develop a bond.
They’ll groom each other, play
together, and sleep close to one
another.
If competition is kept to a minimum and the existing cat has been
yearning for a friend, this is more
 likely to happen.

Pets are like Toddlers

Believe it or not, our pets,

 especially cats, are just

like children.

I’ll list the top three ways

that a cat

is similar to a toddler

in the following paragraphs.

# 1 – Possessing Ph.D in testing  Boundaries

Deciding on healthy boundaries requires a good understanding of the nature of cats / Toddlers. It’s not necessarily about “teaching” your cat / Toddlers and it’s definitely not about discipline. It is about setting up your life together in a way that will be good for you and your cat / Toddlers, allowing you to enjoy the human-feline bond /Mother/Toddlers  relationship to the max.

# 2 – Cuddling Time

Cats treasure the moments when you bring them pure affection when you go home. Although a cat would refer to it as their right, we believe it is what they deserve.

# 3 -They keep an eye on your every step

They keep you in their line of sight
because it makes them feel secure.
Still, 62% when in a safe setting, will help your children get ready for the “real” world.
Both your furry and non-furry
children should know this.
Keep in mind that you should treat your kitten with the same care, love, and understanding as you would your own blood.

Naturally, there’s a good reason

 why midday sleep are referred

to as “cat naps.”

Cats need to sleep throughout the

 daytime much like newborns do,

so it’s best not to disturb them.

Cats snooze frequently to

preserve energy,

control body

temperature, and simply because

they enjoy it.

Cats sleep for almost 15 hours

every day on average.

Some cats can sleep for up to 20

hours a day; how delightful.

Who wouldn’t desire a cat’s life?

It sounds entrancing.

Phacelia tanacetifolia (Fiddleneck), Scorpion Weed, Purple Tansy, Lacy Phacelia, Fernleaf Fiddleneck

I was really surprised when I saw a bumble bee more attracted to a weed that is growing in between our colourful blooming flowers on the balcony. This weed has these unusual spikes of fragrant lavender-blue flowers. I become curious and search for this weed’s identity.

Finding out about the identity of that weed made me more interested and search for more information about it.

After learning amazing fact about Fiddelneck I realize how important this weed is , not only, it is a high-

biomass plant that grows

 quickly but

It is a weed suppressor as

well and as a nitrogen holder.

Its bright purple blossoms

are especially attractive to

bees, butterflies, ladybugs and other helpful

insects because of the nectar .

Farmers uses it as Green manure for soil

 improvement.

This plant can be dug into soil as a soil improver,

making it ideal for use in a wildlife or organic garden.

Because the plant grows

quickly, it provides

immediate groundcover and helps to reduce weeds.

★ Low maintenance and highly disease and pest free,

This plant is also drought tolerant. An excellent choice for mixed borders, cottage gardens, city gardens, wildlife gardens or prairie gardens.

Great as fresh cut fragrant flowers with its unusual and attractive blooms, strong stems, and long vase life (up to 5 days).

Fiddleneck is perfect for creating biodiversity on your garden, I started mine and I’m so excited to see more result.

I saw this yellow lady bird/ beetle crawling along our balcony rail.

Max Out Biodiversity

I have always wanted to max out diversity by planting an abundance of diverse species on our balcony .
It wasn’t easy at first to find out the right types of plant but  It’s worth all my effort after surviving the trials and error and now I can finally choose the right flowering plant that attrack bees/ butterflies /ladybugs and other insects.  I do believe that it maximizes the types of wildlife your garden can support and allows better adaptation to environmental changes.
I bought this mixed seeds of field flowering plants available at the garden center and successfuly germinated them into a healthy seedlings.
●Fiddleneck also called Scorpion Weed. Famous to farmers because it can improve the quality of the soil.
●Rape Seed
●Sow Thistle
●Bachelors button/ Corn Flower
●Flax Seed
●Hairy Willowherb
●Campanula
●Cape Daisies
●English Lavender
●Verbena ( Vervain )
● Petunia
Going wild with it comes to a biodiverse garden, a bit of organised chaos can only be good. That is what I noticed In the wild, an untidy landscape but looks  healthy , and this is exactly what I want to replicate in our balcony garden. This wildness is excellent for biodiversity and encourages all kinds of life to flourish . Come to think about how ecosystem and cleaner our air will be, and the more insects, birds and other animals will have places to call home. Just like this cute ring – neck dove, a regular visitor on our balcony garden.

Fiddleneck / Scorpion Weed
Campanula attracts bees and other insects
Bees favourite

I’m always fascinated by the beautiful polka doted Ladybirds, often known as ladybugs, they are important members of our ecosystem because they maintain our gardens free of aphids and other pests that consume our plants and harvests. I am happy to see ladybugs coming to our balcony garden not just to keep our plants aphids free but I enjoyed their cheerful colour.

Rheumatoid Arthritis and Fibromyalgia. How I am living with it.

I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid arthritis (RA)last Octover 2020 and fibromyalgia (FMS) in February of this year 2022. Which are chronic pain conditions that commonly go together.
Though RA is an autoimmune disease (in which your immune system attacks your joints) and FMS is primarily thought of as a neurological condition (in which pain signals are amplified), they have many of the same symptoms and are believed to have shared underpinnings as well.

In my case, it appears that with a wide array of chronic-pain conditions develop FMS at a high rate. Some scientists believe that’s because chronic pain, from RA or other sources, can cause changes in the way the nervous system perceives and processes pain, and  that process can trigger FMS.

Primary symptoms of both RA and Fibromyalgia, include

  •  fatigue, cognitive
  • dysfunction, sleep problems,

which can make diagnosis difficult.

When you have both, the process  becomes even more difficult.

But following through is still important—you won’t get the treatment you  need to manage your illness(es)  and remain as functional as  possible unless you know what  they are.

Glorious Tulips in the Netherlands

Are you planning to go to the Netherlands for a  short spring holiday trip and love to see tulip fields?  You might want to visit The Poldertuin in Anna Paulowna  . This is higly recommended for people who does not want to stand in a long queue in Keukenhof

This gorgeous garden is open for everyone for free. Beautiful flower beds of tulips are here and lots of variety of spring flowers from mid-March to mid-May are is in bloom . Anna Paulowna Poldertuin is well known as the Mini Keukenhof .

I personally love this place because we live in Noord Holland. During tulip season we often hopped into the car and drove around to explore the endless rows of flowers in every color of the rainbow. You could also see the tulips on a bicycle tour.

How to relax your mind ( Rhreumatoid Arthritis & Fibromayalgia Patients)

As RA & Fibromyalgia patient , the sound of water splashing from the fountain and the chirping birds outside our balcony helps me ease my mind and body pain.
Coffee and the sight of nature is my mood booster. I don’t really know what is it about coffee that gives me that boosting effect on my mood . If you feel happy that will divert your mind off from the pain .

Comforting hugs and purring sounds from our cats is like a pain therapy device .
