How to relax your mind ( Rhreumatoid Arthritis & Fibromayalgia Patients)

As RA & Fibromyalgia patient , the sound of water splashing from the fountain and the chirping birds outside our balcony helps me ease my mind and body pain.
Coffee and the sight of nature is my mood booster. I don’t really know what is it about coffee that gives me that boosting effect on my mood . If you feel happy that will divert your mind off from the pain .

Comforting hugs and purring sounds from our cats is like a pain therapy device .

Changing Seasons effect on RA patients

Changing seasons can cause flare-ups

and depression in some patients.

 

If you don’t get enough sun exposure, 

such as during the winter, your 

serotonin levels will drop, putting you at 

a higher risk of seasonal affective 

disorder (SAD), a type of depression 

caused by seasonal changes.

According to Healthline, exposure to sunlight 

increases the release of a hormone 

called serotonin in your brain, 

which is a chemical associated with 

mood 

enhancement and helping you feel 

calmer and more focused. 

In contrast, when nighttime arrives,

 darkness causes the brain to produce another hormone known as melatonin, 

which aids in relaxation and sleep.
