I successfully germinated pumpkin seeds and planted them in a pot on our balcony , For someone like me who has never done so before growing pumpkin on a balcony is one of the most exciting challenge and the aspects of planting pumpkins is watching them grow through their various stages.

●My Pumpkin Growing Stages.

Male flowers appear seven to fourteen days before female blossoms.
This is how female pumpkin look like in the early stage of growth. ●The bulge is the flower’s ovary. 

The female pumpkin flower have a slight bulge at the base of the flower. That bulge will develop into pumpkin later if fertilized and properly cared for.

After the bloom has been pollinated, the bulge will begin to expand .
The bulge will expand and mature into a pumpkin in about 50 days.
